We’ve all had those moments when you feel you can’t…..
You don’t know what to do…
It hasn’t worked in the past…
I’m not the type of person who fixes, creates or achieves that…
I’m too tired, to exhausted, too young, too old….
Everybody else may do it, but it just doesn’t work for me…
Or whatever it is that we tell ourselves.
We can’t fix everything or even change everything, but being a victim in our own world never works either.
Helplessness begets more helplessness + feelings of doubt, fear and defeat.
Don’t let then take hold.
You have succeeded in the past… and yes, failed. Odds are, both will occur again.
But DO SOMETHING. DO ANYTHING. Clean out your closet, your inbox, your garage.
Check one small item off of your To-Do list … and then another.
If the situation involves someone else (as in the case of a sick friend, relative or child)… if you can’t “fix them”…comfort them… it helps.
Give yourself a “small win”. You Can.
Don’t let feelings of helplessness take hold…. They’re simply not true. It’s just a bad moment, bad day or unfortunate situation.
Small wins build our confidence and rekindles our self-esteem… which makes the next action and the next success a little easier to achieve.
Let me know if this helps you… what comes up for you… the challenges and the successes. It may not be easy at first, but stay willing to change… and You Can.
Lots of Love,
xo
